Born Eldrick Tont Woods on 30th December 1975 and nicknamed Tiger, was born in Cypress, California in the United States. The all time golf favorite remains the worlds best golfer of all times.
Woods was introduced to Golf in his early age of 2 by his athletic father Earl Woods. Earl was a single-digit handicap during his time as an amateur golfer who had been one of the earliest African-American college baseball players at the University of Kansas.
The Stanford University drop out left the prestigious schooling life and ventured into professional golfing at the tender age of 20. In a record 5 months after dropping out school he won the 1997 PGA tour and pocketed $486,000.
