Coveted European football trophy

Out of the many clubs in Europe, one has won the most and that is Real Madrid. The club has won 12 times including its first five seasons.

Cumilatevely Spanish clubs have won the most followed by English teams and then Italian clubs.  The competition has been won by a total of 22 different clubs, 12 of which have won it more than once branding the tournament as one of most competitive in the world.

Tournament sponsorship;

Just like other competitions like Olympics, FIFA World Cup games, advertisers are given a priority so as to market their products and services. When the Champions League was created in 1992, it was unanimously decided that a maximum of eight companies should be allowed to sponsor the event, with each corporation being allocated four advertising boards around the perimeter of the pitch where the game is being played as well as logo placement at pre- and post-match interviews and a certain number of tickets to each match. This is believed to be the fair most of the competition.
